Right behind the Karl-Marx-Allee, 3 subway-stops from Alexanderplatz. Very urban. But since the street is in the backside from Karl-Marx-Allee it is very calm and green with a park nearby. One of the worlds best dance clubs, the “Berghain” and some gay-locations like Laboratory Berlin are 500 meters far. There are shops, supermarkets, subway-station, bus-stop and tramway-stops.

We are a couple of free-lancers. Due to our occupations we prefer exchange in summertime (late June until early September), 3 to max. 8 weeks.

Built in the 1930’s as a model home it is unique with much of the craftsmanship that went into homes of that era. It is typical of the San Francisco homes that are touching each other. The neighborhood is quiet, 1 block to the Muni train and to buses. 2 blocks from Golden Gate Park. 5 blocks to active shopping area with Asian, Middle Eastern, sports bar, coffee houses, fast food restaurants, small markets and a grocery store. House is not child proof but can be closed off in various areas. Two stories. Living area on top. Nice garden.

The Ocean, the Bay, the Park, and in 30 min. you are downtown with the train. Art galleries…a million restaurants. This bright condo is in a architecturally interesting and very secure building with 24 hour concierge service. It is located on the third floor of an 18 storey building with elevator access. There is a rooftop deck with outdoor pool for sunning in warmer weather, and also an indoor hot tub, sauna, and gym on the roof and underground visitor parking in the basement. The condo, itself, is large, over 1100 square feet, and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room and large well-equipped kitchen.

There is cable tv in the living room and master bedroom and wifi internet access throughout, also central air conditioning and central heating with individual controls. A washer and dryer are en suite. It is comfortably furnished with a mixture of modern and antique decor. It is quiet and the perfect place to relax; yet the hustle and bustle of city life is on your doorstep. It is a condo best suited to adults.

Our location is in the heart of the city with the gay village at your finger tips. We are within walking distance to all major city attractions, a short stroll northbound to Bloor Street shopping and Yorkville and also a short stroll southbound to the Eaton Centre. Supermarkets, a vast array of multicultural restaurants, neighbourhood shopping, gyms, theatres and cinemas are all easily accessible. The TTC (metro) station is right across the street.

My house is in a quiet street in a Victorian conservation area in south west London. It’s light and very spacious, with two living areas, a dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms (each with bathroom) and an office in the attic and a nice garden. It comes with all mod-cons (including wi-fi, satellite TV etc). 
The area is residential, with some nice pubs and cafes nearby, plus two parks and it’s just minutes from two tube stations.

There are numerous cultural landmarks within easy reach, including the Imperial War Museum, both Tates, Modern & Britain plus the South Bank (the National Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall and the London Eye). Waterloo is 10 minutes away, with two theatres and some great restaurants.

Central London and the West End is 15 minutes by tube (or a 30 minute walk), with shops, bars and other attractions. In the opposite direction, there’s Clapham, with the great Common, and lots of shops and bars. I’m also within walking distance of the Vauxhall gay scene.

Recently I’ve had successful flat swaps with guys in New York, Amsterdam and Vancouver, and I’m always on the lookout for new swaps or return visits to these cities.

The unit has a 42” Samsung Smart TV, including HD, 3D and Apple TV and music systems all built into the wall. Full wireless internet service, with major apps including Netflix are already installed. Everything runs from a universal wireless remote.

In the heart of the city on one of Vancouver’s main high streets (Robson) this studio is just 4 blocks from historic Gastown and the warehouse district of Yaletown, which are full of fun shops and diverse restaurants, bars and clubs. The West End and its gay village are also very close and can be walked to in about 10 minutes.

The city view is fantastic day and night. Watch the city wake up or the lights come on at dusk. It can be as much fun to stay home as to go out, although the many nearby restaurants will temp you to do the latter.

Whether you’re here for business, holiday or just relaxing, this is a great unit for 1 or 2.

This is a very “city centre” apartment on a main shopping street downtown. Vancouver is very outdoor focused and you are close to major parks and the “seawall”, a bike and walking path that runs around the entire city. The neighbourhood has many restaurants and bars and is minutes from historic districts that are the entertainment parts of the city. You can literally walk anywhere for what you need to do, but transit is on the doorstep too. Very safe and clean, you’re fine everywhere day and night. Whistler ski village is less than 2 hours away with bus connection 2 blocks away.

I’m looking to exchange my apartment for ones in Toronto or Montreal. I’m also interested in exchanges in France (Paris preferred,but not necessary) or for places in either NYC or Chicago. Argentina interests me too as does Australia. Basically I’m flexible on dates or timing/duration of stays and open to most interesting offers of exchange.
